Anne Mackay
Anne is the company owner and has followed a career in destination management and tourism since 1990. Originally from the North-East, Anne knows Scotland very well, even the most remote corners. She is definitely in the right job, since she is a firm believer Scotland is the greatest place on earth! With her son, partner and 2 step-sons at home, Anne is a little outnumbered by the boys, so loves organising evenings out and weekends away with the girls when she gets the chance! The newest member of the team, Claire joined Kudos in Spring 2007 and has provided a valuable contribution ever since. With a background in event management, Claire has brought a fresh approach to planning itineraries. In her spare time she enjoys travelling with her husband and two children and exploring the great Scottish outdoors, and of course dining out in the many excellent Edinburgh restaurants with a nice bottle of wine! Having been with Kudos from the beginning, Julie’s impeccable administrative skills provide support to Anne and Claire and their clients. Julie is very much a “people person”, and suppliers often find themselves charmed into giving availability for the busiest dates, and at the most competitive rates! With three daughters, Julie does not have too much spare time on her hands but has still managed to study floristry in recent years and enjoys cooking for family and friends. Julie speaks conversational French.
